Energy Medicine

This concept was developed in the mid 80’s in the USA. Energy medicine is official acknowledged and is one of the main departments in Complementary and Alternative Medicine. It sees the human organism as a unitary, oscillatory system in which the physical body is operating in interaction with the electromagnetic field with which it is in.

In enery medicine the eastern life-energy concept comes together with the western biophysical method. Also cognitions from areas of biofeedback, self regulation, psychosomatic and transpersonal psychology are incorporated.

The assumption is that all proccesses in the human body are steared by electromagnetic oscillation, which are individual for each person. Each cell, and each organism has its own energetic fingerprint, also all illnessess. Energy medicine is using bioenergetic fields for diagnosis and therapy and is aiming to bring the blocked energies back to flow, so that the selfregulation of the body and health can be restored.
